Low Cost Visual Approach Slope Indicator (VASI)

Evaluate the effectiveness of Low-Cost Visual Approach Slope Indicator (VASI)-type equipment and configurations which would provide assistance to pilots when landing light general aviation type aircraft under visual flight rules (VFR). In addition, it is also to study low-cost VASI system devices and concepts to determine the availability and suitability of candidate systems for agency adoption and possible future implementation.
