Deer Airport Strike Hazard

An increasing number of deer crossing the airport runways are jeopardizing aircraft operations at NAFEC and endangering
human life.  In an attempt to eliminate deer from the runway area, the area was sprayed with a new chemical deer repellent combination designed to render the vegetation unpalatable to the grazing deer.
