Keith Bagot and Jeremy Casey of the Airport Technology Research & Development Branch (ATR) attended the Airport Conversion to Fluorine Free Foams (FFF) Meeting & Demonstration in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas on May 31, 2023. The meeting provided an opportunity for open discussion and observing live firefighting demonstrations at the DFW Fire Training and Research Center, in the context of transitioning from aqueous film forming foams (AFFFs) to FFFs as mandated by Congress.

ATR’s research and testing has been vital in moving the FFF transition forward, making demonstrations such as this possible.
