ICAO Aerodrome Pavement Workshop

Dr. David Brill from FAA’s Airport Technology Research & Development (ATR) Branch and Harold Muniz from AAS-110 presented a 3-day workshop on a variety of pavement-related topics. The workshop was held at the ICAO Asia and Pacific (APAC) regional office in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 7-9, 2024, with 48 representatives of 18 countries in the region attended. The workshop sessions included FAARFIELD design and PAVEAIR use, but the primary interest was on Aircraft Classification Rating-Pavement Classification Rating (ACR-PCR) because of the November 2024 deadline for PCR reporting.
