Final Inspection of new Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Research Vehicle

Jeremy Casey and Keith Bagot from the FAA Airport Technology Research & Development (ATR) branch performed a final inspection and testing of a new Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF) research vehicle at Skeeter Emergency Vehicles in Irving, Texas, on September 4, 2024. The vehicle performed well. There were a few minor issues that required corrections, but the vehicle is near completion. The manufacturer has ensured that the small corrections will be made prior to the expected delivery date of October 1, 2024.
