Dr. Garg served as an instructor and covered topics including: Airport Pavement Evaluation & Design Concepts FAARFIELD2.0 Software Demonstration for Airport Pavement Thickness Design Introduction to Aircraft Classification Rating (ACR) – Pavement Classification Rating (PCR) Concepts for aircraft-airport compatibility The Airport Pavement Technical Workshop provides the most up-to-date information for those designing, constructing, and managing asphalt airport pavements. The workshop focuses on current FAA and other applicable industry standards, including specifications, advisory circulars, criteria, and policy. Topics covered at the workshop include pavement design and evaluation, materials, mix design, construction, preservation, and rehabilitation practices, along with innovative pavement technologies for airports. The workshop was attended by FAA regional office engineers, consultants, asphalt industry representatives, and researchers.
